The reorganization of timespace and its perception is crucial in many different poetic acts.

At the intersection of artistic and conceptual work, Black Quantum Futurism opens up questions about poetics, temporality and blackness. 

By questioning linear time, in a way that has parallels with the idea of poetry as de-territorialization discussed in the seminar, Black Quantum Futurism opens up different perspectives to think about specific events and prospects, linking the long tradition of Afrofuturism in Black arts to the current political moment.  Rewriting history (epics) and the future, "poetry" effects a different way of inhabiting the spaces of everyday ordinary lives: deterritorialization is also, at the same time a different re-territorialization.
